We found an apartment we can afford

Sofia Thorne · 2026-08-13T14:56:04.530Z

After 2 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Austin. It has been weighing on me all week. The landlord took a chance on us. If you are searching, keep going.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
