We found an apartment we can afford - 5 months and counting

After 18 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Salt Lake City. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. A local programme helped with the deposit. If you are searching, keep going.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
