We found an apartment we can afford - 24 weeks in

We signed a lease yesterday after a long hunt. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. A local programme helped with the deposit. It was worth not giving up.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
