We found an apartment we can afford - 21 weeks in

We signed a lease yesterday after a long hunt. The landlord took a chance on us.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Congratulations! That is a big weight off.
