We found an apartment we can afford - 12 weeks in

After 12 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Louisville. I am in Louisville, in case local advice matters. The kids have their own room again. Thanks for all the tips.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
