Passed on a lead and they got the job (update)

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. I do not usually post, so bear with me. It felt good to give something back after others helped me.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
