Passed on a lead and they got the job (update)

A neighbour told me about her job search, and I shared a lead I found here. It has been weighing on me all week. He started on Monday. It really does come around.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
