Passed on a lead and they got the job (update)

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I was nervous but it went well. Anyone else paying it forward?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
