Passed on a lead and they got the job (update)

A neighbour told me about her job search, and I shared a lead I found here. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I was nervous but it went well. Anyone else paying it forward?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
