Passed on a lead and they got the job - first time posting

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I was nervous but it went well. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
