Passed on a lead and they got the job - first time posting

A neighbour told me about her job search, and I shared a lead I found here. I have been trying to stay organised about it. He started on Monday. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
