Passed on a lead and they got the job - any advice?

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. I worked as a security officer before this. It felt good to give something back after others helped me.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Nice work. Referrals count for a lot.
