Passed on a lead and they got the job after 9 years as a school bus driver

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Anyone else paying it forward?

I hope I can do the same when I am back on my feet.
