Passed on a lead and they got the job - 9 months and counting

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. I am in Knoxville, in case local advice matters. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. It really does come around.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I hope I can do the same when I am back on my feet.
