Passed on a lead and they got the job - 6 months and counting

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. It has been weighing on me all week. He started on Monday. Anyone else paying it forward?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
