Passed on a lead and they got the job - 4 months and counting

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. It has been weighing on me all week. I was nervous but it went well. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
