Passed on a lead and they got the job

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. This is my first time dealing with any of this. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
