Passed on a lead and they got the job - 12 months and counting

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
