Passed on a lead and they got the job - 10 months and counting

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I was nervous but it went well.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
