Paid off a bill I thought I would never clear - what worked for you?

I finally caught up on rent after the layoff as a sales associate. I do not usually post, so bear with me. It is a small amount, but it feels huge. Hoping it is the start of a better run.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
