Paid off a bill I thought I would never clear - what worked for you?

My first paycheck after 8 weeks arrived today. I worked as a sales associate before this. I made a list of what to pay first.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
