Paid it forward today - what worked for you?

A neighbour told me about her job search, and I shared a lead I found here. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Anyone else paying it forward?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
