Paid it forward today - first time posting

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I was nervous but it went well. Anyone else paying it forward?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
