Paid it forward today after 5 years as a retail manager

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. He started on Monday. Anyone else paying it forward?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
