Paid it forward today after 13 years as a line cook

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I was nervous but it went well. Anyone else paying it forward?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I hope I can do the same when I am back on my feet.
