My unemployment claim was approved - any advice?

I won my appeal and the back pay arrived this week. I am in Birmingham, in case local advice matters. I kept my records and followed up calmly. I wanted to share in case it helps someone else.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
