Moved into a new place after weeks of searching - what worked for you?

After 6 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Raleigh. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The kids have their own room again.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
