Moved into a new place after weeks of searching (update)

After 12 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Portland. Thank you in advance. The kids have their own room again. Thanks for all the tips.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
