Moved into a new place after weeks of searching

After 18 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Buffalo. I am in Buffalo, in case local advice matters. The kids have their own room again. Thanks for all the tips.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Thanks for sharing the deposit help tip. I will look into it.
