Moved into a new place after weeks of searching after 8 years as a janitorial supervisor

After 9 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Oklahoma City. I am in Oklahoma City, in case local advice matters. The landlord took a chance on us.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
