Moved into a new place after weeks of searching after 15 years as an office manager

After 4 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Cleveland. A local programme helped with the deposit.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
