Moved into a new place after weeks of searching

After 12 weeks of searching, we found an apartment we can afford in Omaha. I worked as a bank teller before this. A local programme helped with the deposit. If you are searching, keep going.

Thanks for sharing the deposit help tip. I will look into it.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
