Job offer came in! - first time posting

I start on Monday after a long search. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. How do you handle the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
