Job offer came in! after 17 years as a security officer

They called on Wednesday with an offer and I said yes right away. This is my first time dealing with any of this. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind.

Well earned. Ask questions early, even small ones. People liked it.

Congratulations! Take notes on names and processes in your first week. It helped me settle in.
