I start a new job on Monday - what worked for you?

They called on Monday with an offer and I said yes right away. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am relieved and a bit nervous. How do you handle the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
