I start a new job on Monday - what worked for you?

After 12 months I accepted a job as a procurement assistant. This is my first time dealing with any of this. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. Any advice for starting over?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
