I start a new job on Monday - what worked for you?

They called on Thursday with an offer and I said yes right away. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. I could not have done it without this community. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
