I start a new job on Monday - what worked for you?

They called on Monday with an offer and I said yes right away. There are 11 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. Any advice for starting over?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
