I start a new job on Monday (update)

Jamie Thorne · 2026-06-02T07:05:48.406Z

They called on Monday with an offer and I said yes right away. I am in Omaha, in case local advice matters. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
