I start a new job on Monday (Louisville)

I start on Monday after a long search. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. What helped you in the first month?

That is wonderful news. Keep applying for a little while if you have not signed, it is a good habit.
