I start a new job on Monday - first time posting

After 9 months I accepted a job as a graphic designer. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. Any advice for starting over?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
