I start a new job on Monday - any advice?

After 11 months I accepted a job as a hotel front-desk agent. There are 13 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am relieved and a bit nervous. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
