I start a new job on Monday - any advice?

After 14 months I accepted a job as a welding apprentice. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. Any advice for starting over?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
