I start a new job on Monday - any advice?

After 7 months I accepted a job as an insurance claims processor. I have been trying to stay organised about it. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
