I start a new job on Monday after 3 years as a data-entry clerk

I start on Monday after a long search. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I could not have done it without this community. What helped you in the first month?

That is wonderful news. Keep applying for a little while if you have not signed, it is a good habit.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
