I start a new job on Monday - 11 months and counting

After 11 months I accepted a job as a machine operator. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I could not have done it without this community. What helped you in the first month?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
