I helped someone else get hired - what worked for you?

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. It really does come around.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
