I helped someone else get hired - what worked for you?

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. I worked as an administrative assistant before this. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
