I helped someone else get hired (update)

A neighbour told me about her job search, and I shared a lead I found here. Any experience at all would help. He started on Monday. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
