I helped someone else get hired - first time posting

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I was nervous but it went well. It really does come around.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
